In your Squarespace dashboard, go to Settings → Advanced → Code Injection. Scroll to the Footer field.

  3. Paste the script tag and save

Paste your Lingvit script tag in the Footer Code Injection field and click Save. The script loads on every page automatically.

Frequently asked questions

Does it translate Squarespace e-commerce?

Eligible product, description, and cart text rendered in the page can be translated. Verify Squarespace checkout and payment steps separately and use platform localization where the script cannot run.

Will it work with Squarespace 7.0 and 7.1?

Yes. Code Injection via Settings → Advanced is available on both 7.0 and 7.1. The Lingvit script works regardless of which template or version you use.

Which Squarespace plan do I need?

Code Injection (Settings → Advanced → Code Injection) is available on the Core, Plus and Advanced plans (and some legacy plans). It is not available on the Basic plan.

Can I preview translations before publishing?

Yes. The Lingvit dashboard shows every translated string and lets you review or override any translation before it goes live to visitors.
