Lingvit's widget runs in the browser, detects the visitor's language, and fetches available translations from the API. Text is swapped in place without a page reload. Missing content is automatically translated and stored for reuse.
Does Lingvit work with any website?
Lingvit translates eligible HTML text on pages where you can run its script, including WordPress, Shopify storefronts, React, Next.js, and custom web apps. Text inside images, restricted frames, hosted checkout, and email notifications needs a separate localization workflow.
Does the translation widget create pages that search engines can index?
The browser widget changes text for visitors on the current URL. Adding the script alone does not create separate language URLs or translated HTML responses. For multilingual SEO, choose a platform integration or delivery mode that serves translated HTML at distinct URLs, then verify canonical tags, hreflang, internal links, and sitemaps. How does Lingvit approach privacy?
