Setup & integration
One script tag
Add the Lingvit script before </body> on pages you want to translate. No SDK, build changes, or locale files are required.
Lingvit crawls your DOM after every page load and route change. All text nodes are discovered and queued for translation automatically.
Any framework, any CMS
WordPress, Shopify, React, Next.js, Vue, Angular, Svelte, Webflow, Astro, plain HTML — if it renders in a browser, Lingvit translates it.
The widget uses a MutationObserver to watch for DOM changes after hydration, so single-page apps and dynamically loaded content are fully covered.
WordPress plugin
Use the Lingvit WordPress plugin to connect supported WordPress and WooCommerce content without inserting the script manually.
The plugin auto-injects the script tag, registers your domain with Lingvit, and adds a language switcher widget you can place anywhere via shortcode or block.

Translation quality
Configurable production provider
New content is translated by the configured production provider across the supported language catalog.
Machine output should be reviewed for high-stakes, legal, medical, financial, or brand-sensitive copy.
Glossary management
Lock specific terms — brand names, product names, technical strings — to ensure they're never mistranslated or left in English.
Glossary terms can be per-language or global. They take effect immediately without reprocessing existing translations.
Manual translation overrides
Review every translation in the dashboard and edit anything that doesn't meet your standard. Changes go live immediately.
Override edits are versioned. You can revert to the MT output at any time. Human-edited strings are clearly marked in the dashboard.
Exclusions & rules
Mark elements or selectors to skip translation — useful for code blocks, prices, form field placeholders, and dynamic values.
Add `data-lingvit-exclude` to any element in your HTML to prevent it from being translated. CSS selector rules can be configured per project.
Performance & delivery
Stored translation reuse
Translations are stored and cached after generation. Reusing an available translation does not count against your monthly character allowance.
Published edits advance the runtime delivery revision so older cached values are no longer served.
Automatic language detection
Lingvit reads the visitor's Accept-Language header and browser settings, then serves the right language automatically — no redirect required.
Detection is client-side and happens before any content is shown, avoiding layout shift. Visitors can always override via the language switcher.
Language switcher widget
A customizable language selector appears on your site automatically. Match it to your brand with CSS or disable it and build your own.
The switcher stores the visitor's language preference in localStorage and respects it on future visits across domains sharing the same project key.
Explicit publication workflow
Review, publish, unpublish, and monitor translation values by locale from the dashboard.
General language-prefixed URL and hreflang delivery is not part of the launch capability; WordPress has its own supported locale-routing integration.
Management & control
Unified dashboard
View, search, and edit all translations from one place. Filter by language, page, status, or string content.
The dashboard shows translation status (pending, auto-translated, human-edited) and lets you batch-approve or batch-override by page or section.
Multiple projects
Manage multiple websites, apps, or domains from a single Lingvit account. Each project has its own languages, glossary, and settings.
Projects are isolated — translations from one project never leak into another. Useful for agencies or companies with multiple products.
Team access
Invite translators, editors, or developers to your project with role-based access control.
Editor role can review and override translations. Admin role can manage languages, glossary, and billing. Owner controls all settings.
Usage visibility
View project translation usage and cache activity without sending customer text to analytics.
Operational usage is read from the durable Core usage ledger.
