Common questions

How does Lingvit pricing work?
Plans have two word limits shared across your account: translated content capacity and a monthly allowance for new translation generation. Source words count separately for each target language. Reusing a stored translation does not use generation again.
How are words counted?
Lingvit counts words in the source language using Unicode ICU segmentation. For example, 1,000 source words translated into three languages use 3,000 words of capacity and 3,000 words of generation.
Does capacity reset each month?
No. Capacity measures current translated content across projects and languages. Deleting current translations frees capacity; disabling a language does not. History does not consume capacity. Used generation is never refunded by deleting translations.
When does generation renew?
Included generation renews monthly from the start of plan access, including on annual plans. The seven-day trial is part of the first interval; the first payment does not reset usage. Unused included generation does not carry over. Purchased generation remains until used.
Are all languages available?
Every plan can choose from the full supported language catalogue. Starter allows three active target languages per project, Growth ten and Business fifty. The source language does not count. Enterprise has unlimited projects and active target languages.
Do page views cost anything?
There are no page-view or visitor limits. Serving existing stored translations does not use generation again.
How does annual billing work?
Annual plans cover 12 months for the price of 10. Generation still renews in monthly intervals.
