Frequently asked questions

Does this slow down Magento storefronts?

No. Translations are served from Lingvit's CDN or cached locally in Magento's Full Page Cache. Server response times remain virtually identical.

How does cache invalidation work with Varnish?

When translations are edited or regenerated, Lingvit issues PURGE requests targeting Magento cache tags (cat_p, cms_b, etc.), ensuring instant updates without flushing the entire cache.

Can I translate custom product attributes?

Yes. All text and textarea product attributes marked as translatable in your attribute sets are localized.

Does it work with Hyvä Themes and PWA Studio?

Yes. Lingvit translates both standard Luma/Hyvä server-rendered templates and GraphQL headless responses.
